Mrs. Word, 45, passed away July 3 at University Medical Center. She was a 1987 graduate of Lebanon High School. Her pastime was cooking homemade meals. She was a faithful member of the Cedars of Lebanon Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by Grandparents James (Slim) & Roberta (Birt) Harris, Fred and Martha McClennon, Uncle James R. (Son) Harris. She leaves to cherish her memory a very devoted husband, Henry Darnell Word; five sons: Lavoisier (Samantha) Knight, Lavon and Joshua Knight, Keith Word, Larkaritis (Jacqualitta) Corder; devoted and loving parents, Emma (George) Grooms and Robert (Faye) White; nine grandchildren: Brook, Kiyla, Cadence, Au’Breonna, Tavius, Josh, Jaida, Jorden and Darnell; one sister, Valerie (Bay Bay) White; one brother, Maurice (April) Grooms; one sister-in-law, Virginia (Chester) Brown; five brothers-in-law, Charles (Mary) Word, Ronnie and Donnie Word, Chris Davis and James (Yolanda) Davis; six uncles, John (Shirley) Harris, John (Beverly) Grooms, Micheal (Evander) Grooms, Eugene (Lorine) Grooms, Lillard Grooms and Chris Grooms; four aunts: Miriam Baugues, JoAnn Williamson, Paulette King and Billy Hoover; two great aunts; three great uncles; four nieces: La’Bria White, Michelle (Randy) Dowell, Kim Word and Nicole (Henry) Clay; eight nephews: Travis White, Landon, Brick and Keyleo Grooms, Robert and Kevin Brown, Bobby and Allen Word; three Godchildren: Jeremiah Vaughn, Tara Bender-Clark and Tangela Bender; one God cousin, Wallicia Rhodes. Numerous cousins, friends and a host of devoted friends, which are too many to mention. Neuble Monument Funeral Home LLC, 1330 Bluebird Road, is in charge of arrangements. (615) 444-3117. Jennett aka Rhodes raised as Jennett Stokes by Dorothy Winfree Stokes and Black baby. Howard Stokes. now Jennett Williamson. Monica. Ms. Emma and all her family. I am so sorry 4 ure loss. It's so hard 2 say good bye. I luv u guys I will always think and miss Monica. We were in church together we all were raised together. I am so proud of Monica. Because she changed 2 be the very best she can be and regardless u always saw that smile. And knew she cared about talking to u she's an Angel. MRS. Emma. I cannot begin to feel ure pain. But I can say god called her home. She is in no more pain. And she is GBNF....GONE BUT NEVER WILL BE FORGOTTEN. She loved everyone and I'll miss my friend we the Williamson family send our regrets. So sorry.
