Mt. Juliet, TN. 61 Passed away at Alive Hospice of Nashville,TN. Frederica Jackson Frazier was born May 31, 1955 in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee to the late Charlie and Ruby Jackson. She was preceded in death by her sister, Inita Hancock. She departed this life on May 13, 2017 peacefully at Alive Hospice after a short, but strong battle with uterine cancer. She was educated in the Wilson County School system. She was later employed as a custodial worker dedicating more than 30 years of service at Lakeview Elementary, until she retired in 2011. Frederica professed her hope in Christ at an early age, joining Mt. Juliet AME Church and later joining Grace Fellowship Ministries. Frederica made a huge impact on those who knew her. Lakeview Elementary will forever hold a special place in her heart. The 30 years she was there, every child, every teacher and parent...she never forgot them. She formed a strong bond with her Lakeview family that would never be broken. Anyone that knew her, also knew that once Spring came, you would find her on the dock at Old Hickory Lake fishing alone or with one of her many fishing buddies. Those left to cherish her memory, include her devoted husband of 44 years, Kenneth Frazier; devoted and loyal daughters: Valorie Frazier and Shadow (Cortez) Kidd; devoted son, Shannon Frazier; nine loving grandchildren: Jasmine Frazier, Chandler Frazier, Ebony Kidd, Olivia Kidd, Nina Frazier, Preston Kidd, Lynce Foster, Jr., Ashley Frazier, and Camille Kidd; very special great grandson, Eric Walters II; aunts: Mary Ann Hancock, Beatrice Stewart, Betty Lou (George) Redmond, Catherine Searcy and Peggy Ann Adkerson,; uncle, Riley (Anna) Clemmons; devoted nephews: Wendell (Carmen) Turner, Alvin Wilson, Desi Turner; devoted, loving and loyal cousin, Senica Hancock; special devoted cousins,; Ruby Hancock, Dennis Hancock, Catherine Freeman, Christine Beasley, Loretta Lynn, Casey Jackson; special little cousins: Kaitlyn Clemons; and her Southside “lunch buddy”, Kason Clemons; honorary family members: Wendell Marlowe, Shelia Marlowe, Eric Walters, Denise McFarland, Macie King, Antonio Bassham, Laneisha Butler, Chandler Foster, Andrea Nelson, Junior Nelson and so many more friends and relatives that she loved so dearly. Including past and present Lakeview staff, their families and children, Southside and West Wilson Middle School family and her many fishing buddies at Old Hickory Lake.
