Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Collins

September 8, 1950 - August 7, 2016

Lebanon, TN 65 Passed away at Summit Medical Center. Elizabeth Ann Collins, affectionately called, “Ann Mo” was born to loving parents, George and Hattie Moore, Sr. on September 8, 1950. From the beginning she grew up with a loving family to support and guide her. This nurturing environment shaped her beautiful spirit and genuine respect for humanity. She was wise beyond her years and willingly shared this wisdom and joy with others. Her smile was contagious. Ann professed a hope in Christ at the age of 12 at Providence M. B. Church, where she shared her gifts as piano player and choir director. She worshipped and praised God with the New Bethel Baptist Church in Memphis and continued her spiritual journey, exhibiting her many Godly gifts in Nashville and Lebanon, TN. She was a graduate of Hamilton High School (1968). She received an Associate of Science Degree from Southwest Tennessee Community College. Ann also attended the University of Memphis. She was a Certified Female Minority Business owner of McLemore Water Services, Inc. She was given an award by Fisk University for her participation in their “Female Entrepreneur Seminar” (2012). She leaves behind to cherish her memory a loving and devoted husband, Kerry Collins,Sr.; daughter, Veronica Wimbley and also Kerry, Jr.; Kristopher, Kerchandra Collins and a host of grandchildren; three sisters: Gertha Lewis, Linda Hatley and Cheryl Moore; three aunts: Celestine Braxton, Lena Howard, Betty Harris and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, whom she loved dearly.
