Ms. Annette Walker

Nashville, Tennessee 68 Annette Walker, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend passed away on October 26, 2021. Annette was born in Lebanon, Tennessee to the late Charles Edward and Alberta Seay Walker. She began her early education in Lebanon but completed her higher education in Nashville, Tennessee where she was a 1970 graduate of Pearl High School. Annette confessed her love for Christ and obeyed the baptism call and was baptized here at 40th Avenue Church of Christ. She was known for her many phone calls to check on family, church family, former co-workers, and friends. Annette had a very kind and lovely spirit which is why she will forever be remembered. Annette worked for St. Thomas Hospital until 2006 where her health caused her to retire after over 25 years of service. Annette is preceded in death by parents Charles and Alberta “Seay” Walker and brothers Charles Stephany and James Harold Walker. She is survived by devoted sons Terrance Maurice (Tenielle) Buchanan and Melvin Edward Buchanan; grandchildren Mason and Madison Buchanan; devoted brother Robert A. Kalanu (Marilyn) Walker and sister Nellie Janna (Harvey Fisher Jr.) Bowman. Sister in laws Jacques B. Walker, Thelma Fisher, and Elizabeth Fisher. Devoted nephews Roderic (Latika) Armstrong, Wallace Bowman II, Charles C. Walker, James D. (Tatiana) Walker, M. Tito (Casey) Walker, Torian C. Walker, and Kalanu B. Walker; Devoted nieces Tracey Benton, Nicole Benton, Shannon Benton-Hamilton, Marichelle (Anthony) Angeles, Kimwa L. Walker, and Kimberly E. walker; Devoted Cousins Shirley Jobe, Christine Beasley, Clarence (Thelma) Seay, Damon (Heironya Frazier) Walker, Kevin Walker, Rodney (Keisha) Walker and others. Devoted church family Ruth Beaman, Geraldine Johnson, Mary Johnson, Mildred Parker, Robert (Gladys) Mason, and James Waller. Devoted friends Della Woodard, Emma Strain, and Deborah Warrick. A host of other great nephews, nieces, cousins, and other family and church family members. Passed away at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
